A Fresh Take on Starting a Microbrewery or Beer Factory in India - Not another boring business plan
Thereâs a quiet revolution brewing in India â literally. From dimly lit taprooms in Bengaluru to experimental brewing units tucked inside restaurants in Pune, the beer scene is getting sharper, bolder, and refreshingly local.
If youâve ever sipped a craft IPA and thought, âI could make something better,â youâre not alone. And if youâre serious about turning that idea into a business, this is your blueprint.
Forget everything youâve read so far. Starting a brewery in India today requires more than paperwork â it needs vision, cultural awareness, and the right partners. Thatâs where we come in.
The Market is Ready. Are You?
Indiaâs beer industry is evolving fast. What used to be a market ruled by mass-produced lagers is now driven by diversity. Consumers are exploring new beer styles, caring more about quality, ingredients, and brewing methods.
Thatâs why building a brewery today isnât just about producing alcohol â itâs about creating identity, culture, and community.
And to do that well, you donât just need good beer. You need a smart, locally aware, and flexible business strategy. A strong microbrewery in India business plan is the starting point â and we help you build one from the ground up.
Planning a Microbrewery in India That Actually Works
Starting a microbrewery in India is more than just installing fermenters and kettles. Itâs about aligning your dream with state regulations, customer expectations, and operational efficiency.
A meaningful microbrewery in India business plan should answer key questions:
Who is your target audience?
What will your taproom look and feel like?
What beer styles are still untapped in your region?
Each state has its own rules. Maharashtra and Karnataka, for instance, are relatively supportive of microbreweries. Other states may have stricter excise conditions. We help you evaluate, compare, and choose the best place to launch.
We donât just offer equipment â we offer full-scale support, from technical consulting to site planning and approvals.
The Real Steps Behind Opening a Microbrewery
If youâre wondering how to open microbrewery in India, hereâs a clear roadmap:
Choose the Format â Brewpub, microbrewery, or hybrid model?
Licensing and Compliance â We assist in securing excise licenses, FSSAI, fire safety, trade, and pollution control clearances.
Pick a High-Potential Location â Urban neighborhoods or emerging Tier 2 hotspots? We help you decide based on demand, cost, and logistics.
Design for Experience â Our experts create layouts that blend brewing functionality with customer-facing ambience.
Install Reliable Equipment â We manufacture, supply, and install brewery systems that are tailored to your scale and style.
Thinking Bigger: Starting a Beer Factory in India
If your dream is to bottle, can, and distribute beer at scale, youâre stepping into the beer manufacturing space.
To start a beer factory in India, youâll need:
Industrial land and infrastructure
Fully/semi-automated brewing systems
Bottling, canning, and labeling lines
Efficient quality control and waste management systems
We provide turnkey beer factory solutions, including everything from factory design to utility planning, system automation, and long-term maintenance. Our goal is to help you build a scalable, profitable, and future-ready operation.
The Less-Discussed Truths of Brewing Business
Hereâs what most people donât talk about â things that can make or break your first year in brewing:
It almost always takes longer than expected â from site selection to legal clearance.
Your first six months will stretch you â training staff, perfecting your recipes, and dialing in your systems.
Customers care just as much about your vibe as they do your beer.
Using local ingredients is not just sustainable â itâs a branding advantage.
Without marketing, even the best beer remains undiscovered.
The difference? We help you through all of it. From licensing assistance to equipment training, from layout optimization to branding tips, we make sure youâre prepared from day one.
Our clients donât just buy machines â they gain a full-service brewing partner. Thatâs why so many of our projects succeed fast, scale smoothly, and stand out in crowded markets.
What Makes It Work?
A great brewery isnât built on gear alone. Itâs built on smart strategy, local understanding, and strong relationships.
Hereâs what we help our clients do differently:
Start with a small, efficient system and plan for growth.
Invest in long-term reliability â cheap gear breaks down when it matters most.
Brew what your audience wants â not just what you like.
Build compliance and sustainability into your design from day one.
At Prodeb Brewery, weâve helped everyone from first-time restaurateurs to national beverage producers bring their brewing visions to life. We donât just install equipment â we build long-term brewing ecosystems.

He laughs when they try cronuts for the first time, clasps her a little closer during a tour at The Living Dead Museum and celebrates her win by lifting her off her feet at that silly little boxing gym.
Boxing, she thinks as she reviews the video with distain, itâs no sport for a woman.
Although she has to hand it to the girl, she can fight. She rolls with the punches before delivering a blow so well timed that it leaves her opponent laid out, dazed upon the canvas. When the counts over, she helps her up, checks her over. The two do a fist bump through the gloves before the next match starts.
A gracious winner too, Mrs Shen notes.
Despite herself sheâs starting to like the woman her son has chosen, especially after she stands up to her when she turns up at the fire station with that DCFS file. John is the first person to defy Mrs Shen, Celica the second. It already reaffirms what she has long suspected about the relationship, that itâs love and love, well that changes everything because it means her son wonât be cowed or brow beaten.
Itâs that thought that leads her to the predicament sheâs in now.
Three days before a wedding her son refuses to attend because the bride at the end of the aisle isnât the one he wants. She remembers her own marriage all those years ago to a man SHE didnât want.
She did her duty, gave him four children, three of them boys but she was never happy. Her heart had always belonged to someone else, to the woman she had promised eternity to back in college.
Daiyuâs been dead two decades now and Mrs Shen still attends her gravesite to put down white lilies in the spring.
She looks at the photographs again, the one of the two of them sheltering from the rain underneath Johnâs coat in a shop doorway. Cecilaâs fingertips chase a bead of water from his face as he leans in close, their bodies almost touching. Itâs the look in her eyes that captures Mrs Shen, the softness. There is no one else on earth in that moment, just the two of them.
Her sighs when she picks up the phone, dialling her assistantâs number.
âMei-Mei.â She says curtly when the other woman answers. âI need you to call the Ming family, weâre cancelling the wedding.â

Kisses (James 'Spider' Webb x OC x River Cartwright)
Summary: The Park always have the best Christmas parties. Unfortunately this year, not everyone agrees
Slow Horses tag list: @cillmequick
There was always something to say about Service Christmas parties. The job was fucking serious which meant that people always needed to unwind. As such, the parties were always fucking great. Good food, an open bar and for once, some time to really let your hair down and forget about the seriousness of the job for one night.
River was standing to the side, observing the crowd. He took a sip of his pint, savouring the taste. It was a good beer, probably for some poncy microbrewery that knew how to keep its mouth shut about who it was supplying for. He has put a lot of thought into his outfit. Smart but still with a hint of casualness about it. No tie and the top couple of buttons of his shirt were undone. After all, Becca wasnât overly impressed by flashy displays of wealth. Yes, he was well paid but there was no need to flaunt it in peopleâs faces. Unlike another person he knew⊠He grinned to himself as he spotted a familiar glimpse of red hair and downed his pint, pushing his way through the crowd.
James was on the other side of the room to River. He sipped his whiskey and winced at the taste. He wasnât usually a whiskey person but he wanted something that made him seem⊠classy. Tailored suited and handmade shoes. Even though this was a party there was no need to slob it up so his tie remained on and his shirt fully done up. After all, you never knew when you might be called back to duty. This might be a party and yes, it was slightly more relaxed, but still you needed to be on your guard. He took another sip of his whiskey and walked around the outskirts of the party, trying to find his friend. He relaxed as he saw the comforting sight of Rebeccaâs red hair and made his way towards her.
Rebecca broke off from the middle of the group feeling pleasantly buzzed. She finished the rest of her drink and made her way over to the buffet table. The Service always put on a good show at these sorts of things. No expense paid after all. She got to the table and looked around for something to eat. Just then a hand landed on her shoulder. She looked up at as the person said,
âMistletoe.â
âOh.â Rebbeca glanced up and felt her cheeks get hot, âright.â
âIt is tradition after all. Do you mindâŠâ
âNot at all. Just like you said, itâs tradition.â
Surprisingly rough hands cupped her cheeks as he leant in and pressed his lips against hers. Rebecca could faintly hear drunken whoops of joy around them.
River froze at what he saw. Of course the cunt would use mistletoe to get what he wanted. River couldnât see the face of who Becca was kissing but he could see the familiar blonde hair to know that it was Spider. Damn cunt. Of course heâd take advantage of her like that. Not giving her any choice and playing on tradition to manipulate her into kissing him. River could feel the unfamiliar coil of jealousy in the pit of his stomach. He needed some air.
James froze when he saw Rebecca under the mistletoe kissing someone else. And he knew exactly who that person was. River fucking Cartwright. Only heâd be the type of person to get someone under the mistletoe just to kiss them. Couldnât Cartwright see that Rebecca wasnât interested in him in that way? But oh no, Cartwright couldnât bare not to be Rebeccaïżœïżœïżœs favourite. Cartwright wasnât even interested in Rebecca until he found out that James was. James turned on his heel and marched outside. He needed some fresh air to clear his mind.
Rebecca broke the kiss and looked up at the agent. Tall (well, everyone was tall compared to her), handsome, blonde. Fuck, was everyone agent in Service blonde? Sheâd seen him around and thought his name was Harry. Yes, definitely Harry. She remembered him getting some files from Molly. Harry smiled down at her.
âHappy Christmas.â he said
âHappy Christmas.â she replied
James let out a sigh of relief as he finally left the party. The cold December air was surprisingly refreshing although, being in the middle of London, it was hardly fresh.
âSatisfied?â
He looked over sharply at the familiar voice. River was leaning against the wall, arms crossed and glaring at him. James gave River a cold look and took another sip of whiskey. He made sure not to wince at the taste. He couldnât let River see him wince at something as simple as the taste of whiskey. River pushed himself off the wall and slowly made his way towards Spider. They were the only two out there. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying the open bar to want to go outside in the cold.
âIt was a dirty and low move, even for you.â said River
âWhat the fuck are you talking about?â asked Spider, âthink youâve had a bit too much to drink, mate.â
âYou and Bec- Rebecca.â
âWhat about us.â
âUnder the mistletoe. Couldnât even find the balls to kiss her without resorting to that.â
âWhat the fuck do you mean? It was you who-â
River and Spider made eye contact and came to the same conclusion. Spider groaned and ran a hand through his hair and gave River a disgusted look. River looked slightly guilty for a fraction of a second before he masked it again.
âSo,â River said after a tense couple of seconds, âwhat are we going to do about this.â
âYou mean, work together?â
Spider wrinkled his nose at the thought and River shared his sentiments. However, he was able to mask his feelings better. Spider was never going to make it as an agent if he couldnât even do that.
âWell,â said River, âI do have one idea.â
âOnly one? Slacking there Cartwright.â
âFuck off.â
*
Rebecca grimaced when she saw the email in the New Year when she came back from leave. She looked over at Molly as she wheeled past her.
âSince when did mistletoe become banned?â She asked
âApparently people complained to HR,â said Molly as she handed Rebbeca some files, ânow back to work.â
As Rebecca turned back to her work Molly watched her intently.
âAnd seeing you certainly enjoyed yourself under it, I can only wonder who would do that.â Molly said under her breath

Massachusetts Land Trust to Tackle Affordable Housing and Land Conservation in One Project. (Sierra Club)
Excerpt from this story from Sierra Club:
In Easthampton, Massachusetts, there isnât much open land left. The areaâs housing shortage means that most unprotected areas are attractive lots for real estate developers to add stock to this post-industrial artistâs haven, where old mill buildings house studios turning out pottery and paintings and new restaurants and microbreweries. The skyrocketing demand for housing then prices out land conservationists who aim to protect wildlife and air and water quality, and connect residents with nature. A new project in the city seeks to overcome the either-or narrative between sprawling cul-de-sacs and conservation, a shift rippling throughout the conservation movement. On a 53-acre parcel of land in this former mill town, Kestrel Land Trust will conserve 42 acres and will work with a partner organization to develop the other 11 acres into affordable housing.Â
âWeâre dealing with a climate crisis, a biodiversity crisis, and a housing crisis all at the same time,â said Mark Wamsely, conservation director at Kestrel Land Trust. âThe effectiveness of the projectsâboth in terms of addressing the various crises as well as their practicality and feasibilityâmight be better if we focus on all of them at the same time.â
In recent years, land trusts across the country have begun to reevaluate their historically narrow missions, which prioritize traditional land conservation, and to consider how they can better serve all members of their community. As workers at land trusts began to watch local residents and their own colleagues struggle to afford housing, this shift in priorities has increasingly led to more collaboration between conservation land trusts and affordable housing organizations. Kestrel received an anonymous donation specifically earmarked for such collaboration.Â
âI think [the donor] was reading the tea leaves in this particular community,â Wamsely said.Â
Conservation land trusts acquire and manage land or conservation easements, which are agreements between landowners and trusts, or governments, that put permanent protections on land. Some critics say this takes land needed for housing out of circulation, thus worsening a housing crisis that disproportionately impacts marginalized groups. Collaboration between conservation land trusts and affordable housing groups is sometimes difficult due to past disagreements and cultural differences between the two groups.Â
Most of the housing options in Easthampton are large farm houses or old mill housing in poor condition, Mayor Nicole LaChapelle said. A report published in 2021 found that more than half the renters in the area are âcost burdenedâ and spend more than the recommended 30 percent of their income on housing, but longtime residents were hesitant to support developments that changed the cityâs small-town feel. In order to maintain a sustainable local economy, LaChapelleâs administration knew it needed to look for new, innovative opportunities for affordable housing upon taking office, when Kestrelâs novel plan landed on her desk.Â
Kestrelâs partner in this new mission is the Community Builders, a national nonprofit that develops and manages affordable housing. It already owns a senior living community adjacent to the parcel earmarked for this collaboration, allowing for intergenerational connection, in addition to the other benefits of the project.
Kestrelâs conservation acreage will protect forests, floodplains, and a tributary of the Connecticut River, while the Community Builders will develop 87 affordable rental units. The low-income housing tax credit will help finance the project, making the units affordable to people making 60 percent of the areaâs median income or less. Residents will pay 30 percent of their monthly income for rent.

What Kind of Liquor Store Would You Choose?: The Right Idea

Having a few good pals around for a round of drinks is one of the best ways to unwind. Nothing beats this for unwinding and taking it easy. Whether you're throwing a party or simply hanging out with friends, it's important to choose a reliable liquor store. The best shops will assist their clientele by providing them with recommendations, extensive knowledge of their products, and access to high-quality items. There is a Diverse Offering of Choices when it comes to the Retailer of Alcoholic Beverages in Wellington City. Go to a store that has just what you're looking for. Numerous shops have a varied beer variety from local microbreweries. Products vary from cheap domestic bourbon and scotch to costly overseas kinds of both. The best stores provide a comprehensive selection of both everyday necessities and unique, hard-to-find products. A search with Liquor stores open near me can be quite useful. There should be a wide price range represented in the liquor shop's selection. Any and all of the available selections, from the most expensive to the least cheapest, may be kept in a fully filled liquor cabinet. The Saratoga gunfight charges were withdrawn, but they might be refiled in the future. In cases when the end result will have a taste that is meant to interact with other flavors, such as when baking or preparing mixed drinks, it is not always necessary to use the best grade brands. On the other hand, if you plan on drinking the alcoholic beverage on its own, you should invest in a higher-end brand even if it costs more than a store-brand equivalent. Recommendations from Experts A large bar tab may rapidly accumulate when you throw parties on a regular basis. It is crucial to get the advice of an expert before making a large investment. The quality of the bottle of alcohol offered can make or break an occasion, and the knowledgeable staff at the best liquor stores can help you make the right choice. A description of the happening and your chosen flavor(s) should be at the ready. Heed the advice they provide you very carefully. Therefore, when you reach there, choose the Nearest liquor store. If you want superior and personalized service, it might pay you to go the extra mile. Another perk of shopping at the same establishment again is that the staff will come to know you and your preferences via repeated interactions. Your interactions with the other visitors will improve with each visit. Interminable interaction with It's wise to consider how easy something is to use, but it shouldn't be the only thing you consider. The ideal version of this business would have spotless floors, be well organized, and be situated in a safe area. The most outstanding bottle stores have spotless interiors, a wide variety of products, and helpful staff. If you are able to track them down at a bottle store, you will be rewarded with the sweet rewards of your work. Conclusion You should look for a store that is conveniently located, such as near to your home or along your regular commute path. However, this is only the first step. Employees, products, and the store's aesthetic all speak to the quality of management. Look for a firm that can differentiate itself from the pack, and employ them. If you can get all you need in a single outing, you'll experience a big uptick in both pleasure and calm.

I pulled up to his hotel downtown. I had never really seen much of it and had a hard time finding it.
I texted him asking where I should park. The parking lot was completely full.
'Stay where you are. Iâll find out and come find you. What are you driving?' he replied.
The grey Mazda, I responded.
He stepped around the side of the passenger door, opened it, and sat down. He turned to look at me and smiled.
âYouâre beautiful,â were the first words he spoke to me. I could feel that he meant it.
He showed me where to park and got out quickly to come around and open my door for me and held out his hand. A bit surprised by the gesture, I accepted with a genuine smile.
âCome here,â he said, pulling me into a tight hug and burying his face into my hair.
He held me just like that in a tight warm hug. Whispering how good I smelled.
That hug was so full on need. The need to touch, be touched, to just be close to someone⊠I could feel his need so strongly.
He kept my hand in his as we dogged Saturday traffic to cross the street.
I kept thinking about how small my hand felt in his. Something I wasnât used to.
He guided me through the small and richly decorated lobby to the bar and grill. The smell of seafood from the kitchen filled the air. He pulled a chair out for me at the bar, displaying yet another gesture I wasnât accustomed to.
He ordered an Old Fashioned. I had never tried one. When he turned to ask me what I wanted I simply smiled and said Iâll have the same.
It tasted like fucking Christmas in my mouth.
He was nervous. His gestures were jerky, he would grin and look off and then look back at me. He'd reach to touch me, brush my leg softly and then pull his hand back.
I loved seeing how I affected him this way.
It was still raining, but very softly. We took our drinks onto the patio of the hotel. I reached for my cigarettes. I had left them in the car.
âIâll get them for you!â he offered excitedly.
It made me smile but I told him Iâd be right back.
I had left them behind on purpose. So that he'd be watching me from the patio walking towards him taking drags of my cigarette, wearing the boots I had picked out for the night just for him. He had said how he had a weakness for boots.
I sat next to him and took my drink that he offered. I sipped it slowly, truly savoring the drink.
His eyes never left my face.
Every time he spoke and I took a drag off of my cigarette his words stumbled slightly and his breathing would get heavier.
I toyed with him this way all night.
I had realized that I truly wanted to be his fantasy girl for the evening. His loneliness was palpable. His hands shook every time he reached to touch me before he quickly pulled his hands away.
God it made me feel good to see how he wanted me but tried so hard not to overstep.
âLets go walking,â I suggested.
The rain was just a light drizzle now. The air smelled so good. Ocean and fresh night time rain. Two of my favorite scents.
We walked for about ten minutes before he pulled me to him.
âCome here,â he muttered, âI just have to,â
He kissed me softly and with trembling lips. I slid both hands up onto either side of his shoulders, my fingers tracing along his collarbones softly while his slid along my lower back. I kissed him back and he melted into that kiss.
Traffic passed by loudly and broke our kiss. I giggled and took his hand as we continued to the micro brewery he was leading me too.
I looked all around at everything, feeling a little giddy from my first drink, the air, and the power that I felt I had over him. It was exhilarating to see him fighting for self control.
The microbrewery was called The Sea Witch and Ale. I found it a charming attention to detail about me, since I have stated my love of mermaids to long before we met.
The outside seating was covered in rain. I didnât mind it. Even if it made the white shorts I was wearing a bit transparent.
A small quartet of electric instruments and a hell of a female vocalist crooned to jazzed up versions of older songs under the patio shelter.
He asked me what I wanted and I asked him to choose something for me.
âYouâre the expert on beer,â I told him, âyou choose one for me.â
He liked that a lot.
When he came back I was swaying a bit with the music and slowly smoking a cigarette.
His breathing got heavy again.
We sat, talked, and sipped our beers. Mine was a surprisingly delicious German brew. He had become more comfortable by then. More adventurous with his hands for short periods of time.
My knee, my thigh just under the hem of my white shorts, my neck and my hair. He hugged me again just to busy his face in my hair. He moaned softly just breathing my scent. I held his face in between my hands softly and kissed him softly.
He couldnât keep from stopping to kiss me and smell me. There were men there who watched us instead of the musicians. I caught their eyes on occasion and they would sip their drinks and gaze on. I liked that too, but I donât think he noticed. We stayed and talked until our beers we gone. Then walked by the water. We walked for an hour like this.
âLetâs go have another drink at your hotel,â I suggested.
I was buzzed and happy. I wanted to feel those hands and mouth on the rest of my body.
He ordered our drinks while I had one last cigarette before going upstairs to his room. I love old buildings like that hotel.
We were soaked between the rain and sweat from walking in the humidity. It was so cool in his room.
He took my hand and guided me to the couch and kissed me again. But when he pulled his hand back from touching me this time I had enough.
âDo you want to touch me?â I asked him softly.
âYes,â he answered breathily.
âThen touch meâ
I lifted my hands up as he peeled my shirt off hastily, exposing my breasts. The rest of my clothes except for the maroon lace panties I had worn and my boots came off quickly and his hands and mouth we all over me.
Fuck it felt so good.
He took me to the bedroom and I slowly stripped my boots off while sitting on the edge of the bed. I left my panties on. His eyes never left me.
When my boots were off he pushed me back on the bed and was over me with his mouth and hands. Fuck he felt so good sucking on each nipple until they were stiff and aching. His fingers pressing into the side of my rib cage drove me fucking insane. How he could have found one of my few erogenous parts I donât know, but I loved it. His massive frame above me and the fire in his eyes told me plainly that I was his now and that he would have me however he wanted me. I had asked him to touch me and so now he would.
He slid my panties off slowly like he was savoring it. His breathing got so heavy in the few seconds it took him to throw them on the ground and push my hips back down on the bed. Oh my fucking god his mouth⊠he ate my pussy like a starving man. His mouth felt so fucking good. His moan mingled with my own as he dipped his tongue inside of me to taste my wetness.
âYou pussy tastes fucking amazing,â he told me, looking up at me before bury his tongue inside me and gripping my hips tightly.
I couldnât be quiet even if I wanted to. It felt so good.
He stood up and straddled my face with his huge cock. So fucking thick. I wanted his cock in my mouth so badly.
I softly licked his balls. His small gasps and moans fucking delicious in my ears, I could feel how much more wet I was getting. I worshiped every inch of his balls with my tongue and soft sucks every so often until his balls were so tight.
âMmm fucking good girl,â he kept moaning and whispering to me. âSuch a fucking good girl.â
Fuck those words drive me fucking crazy.
âlook at meâ
I looked up at him, licking purposefully slow as I met his eyes with my wide hungry eyes.
âOh my fucking god you are so fucking sexy,â he groaned.
Finally I wrapped my lips around his cock. So thick I had to swallow in a few inches at a time. It felt as good as I had thought it would filling my throat until I could lick the base of his cock.
His moans and utterances of 'such a fucking good girl' over and over made me ache to feel him inside of me.
He rolled me on to my back and slowly slid the tip of himself inside me. He moaned and told me how good my pussy felt. He thrust deeper inside me chanting âoh my fucking godâ like a mantra to my pussy.
We fucked for hours. Fuck he was go big. I could feel him stretching my pussy. When every inch of his cock was inside me and he began fucking me I lost all semblance of a lady and became a complete fucking slut.
He pounded deeper and deeper into me. There were no thoughts. His fucking cock had stolen them. All I felt was lust and need.
He pulled his dick out of my pussy and jerked it.
âGet on you knees, I want to fuck you from behind, baby.â
I bit my lip and obeyed, arching my back and presenting my ass and dripping pussy for his cock.
Fucking god it was so deep. It hurt and felt so fucking good. All I could do was scream. And he fucked me harder because of it.
He flipped me on my back and licked up my dripping slit and sucked my now swollen clit. Fuck it felt so good. He slid his fingers inside me and worked at my g-spot. With his other hand he pressed down just above my pussy while fucking me with his fingers. It was the closest I have ever been to cumming during sex. All I could do was feel him and scream.
He shoved his fingers in my mouth and I sucked them clean while he pounded into me again.
He wouldnât fuck my ass. When I asked him to he buried his cock in my pussy instead, letting me know that was the hole he wanted.
He had me sit on his face and grind my pussy into his face.
âGod I could eat your pussy every day all day.â
He told me over and over how my pussy was the best tasting and prettiest pussy he had ever been with. How I was his dirty girl. Fuck I loved that.
Both of us panting and drenched in sweat, my hair soaked, he pulled me close and covered us both in the blanket.
âturn around so I can see your faceâ he whispered.
My eyes were heavy and I could feel myself close to passing out while his fingers retraced every inch of my face and body.
âGod youâre so fucking beautifulâ he mumbled under his breath.
I glanced at the clock. 12:45 am
After catching our breaths we both sat up to get dressed. We walked past our third round of drinks, left untouched, on our way out of the room. It made me giggle.
He walked me to my car and opened my door for me. His hands and mouth on me one last time.
My pussy ached so deeply I woke up being able to still feel him inside of me the next day.
It was a very nice night.

Small Gestures That Quietly Boost a Manâs Confidence

Small Gestures That Quietly Boost a Manâs Confidence â Like a Surprise Sandwich and a Pretend Laugh at His Joke
A Love Language Known as 'Minimal Effort, Maximum Ego' In a groundbreaking exposĂ© from YourTango, weâve learned that men â delicate, emotionally withered houseplants â thrive on the gentle misting of small gestures. Yes, the modern man no longer requires roaring admiration or standing ovations. He just wants you to giggle at his âdad reflexesâ or say âgood jobâ when he parallel parks without annihilating a mailbox. A Sandwich Is Now Emotional Currency Experts agree: the male psyche is held together by deli meats. One anonymous husband reportedly burst into tears when his wife made him a grilled cheese unprompted. âIt was better than therapy,â he said, as he dabbed his tears with a slice of cheddar. âShe believed in me enough to use the panini press.â Relationship coach and accidental TikTok star Debbi Rae Paltrow said, âIf you want your man to feel like a king, just toss him a sandwich like youâre feeding a golden retriever. Works every time.â Gentle Head Pats Now Considered Sexual Foreplay According to science (and one BuzzFeed poll), nothing revs up a man's self-worth like being treated like an overachieving Labrador. A subtle head pat, paired with a whispered âYou got this, champ,â apparently activates the same neurological pathways as a full-blown TED Talk on masculinity. One woman admitted she boosted her partnerâs confidence just by letting him open a jar she already loosened. âHe walked away whistling like he invented agriculture,â she said. Pretending He Fixed the Wi-Fi Is an Act of Love Ladies, even if you rebooted the router yourself, let him believe heâs the digital shaman who restored your access to Netflix. A fake gasp and a âYouâre so good at this stuffâ can raise his testosterone by 4.6%, according to a study funded by emotionally neglected husbands who just want to feel useful. âI didnât know what I was doing,â said Dan, 37, from Des Moines. âI just hit the box until the lights stopped blinking, and she clapped like I cured polio.â Let Him Hold the Flashlight While You Fix the Car Thereâs no greater illusion of competence than letting a man assist in something he doesnât understand. Just put a wrench in his hand and ask him to âkeep an eye on that belt.â He will stand there with the gravitas of a NASA launch director, even if he thinks a timing belt is something you wear to prom. Pro tip: Let him make beeping noises. It's all part of the ritual. Compliment His Grocery Bag Carrying Skills Want to see a man puff up like a Thanksgiving parade float? Whisper, âWow, you carried all those bags in one trip.â Heâll strut to the fridge like he just lifted Thorâs hammer. Studies show that every compliment about manual labor adds 30 days of self-esteem to his internal calendar. Even if he crushed the bread and liquefied the avocados, he must be celebrated. Fake-Laugh at His 'Signature Joke' Heâs told it 47 times. Youâve heard it 46 too many. But if you just let out a tiny, snorty laugh and clutch his arm like heâs George Carlin reincarnated, heâll beam for days. Youâve just renewed his internal comedy license. Proceed with caution â this may result in a "tight five" at Thanksgiving dinner. Celebrate His Beard Growth (Even If Itâs Just Neck Stubble) Men will gaslight themselves into believing they have a beard when theyâre just growing something resembling a haunted shadow. If you praise his ârugged look,â youâre now dating a man who thinks heâs a mountain-dwelling survivalist, despite the fact he screams during paper cuts. One woman said, âHe was going to shave it, but I called it 'distinguished.' He immediately Googled âhow to open a microbrewery.ââ What the Funny People Are Saying âI complimented my boyfriend for âorganizing the fridgeâ â he had just thrown beer in there. He now refers to himself as a âdomestic strategist.âââ Amy Schumer âI told my husband he looked âstrongâ moving the trash can. He applied to be a personal trainer the next day.ââ Lisa McDavid âLet a man fix a squeaky door and heâll act like he deserves a key to the city.ââ Ron White

Here are a few more small gestures that can make your man feel like Zeus: Nod solemnly when he explains cryptocurrency, even if he's describing a pyramid scheme with emojis. @headspace-hotel @impulsivelycontentious
Hi, I'll do my best to answer your questions!
I'm a real life biologist, and I've worked on a couple projects involving horizontal gene transfer in both yeast (which is also an Ascomycota fungus) and bacteria (for GFP protein and insulin, respectively) at my university. My job was to make plates, test for sucess and transfer the sucessful strains. And while it's not my area of expertise, I listened to several classes on wine production, which relies heavily on growing specific strains of yeast and bacteria and fermenting them in large tanks (which is why I mentioned you'd need a brewery and an alchemist) and how to prevent unwanted contaminants. There probably ARE microbiologists on this site who are more qualified for this than me (and have probably already spotted the two mistakes I made on the original recipe, I'l correct them in the update) but I think they will agree my methodology is largely sound.
Regarding specific strains: funnily enough, the most potent penicilin strain found was just a random one growing on a cantaloupe that one of the research assistant brought to the lab one day. They were testing all kinds of strains to find the most potent ones back then, so onto the plate it went and they got lucky. That's unfortunately what a lot of this experiment comes down to: luck. It's why I said you need to up your chances by having as many plates and strains as you can, and pick the one with the widest ZOI. The ones with the most potent production are the ones that tend to prevail, luckily, but you need to gamble a lot. This stuff WAS hard to figure out initially, but we're not figuring it out from scratch, we are trying to recreate the already perfect method, so we're skipping a lot of steps the original team had to figure out. Every scientist stands on the shoulders of giants after all.
Regarding fermentation: humans have been fermenting stuff for a long-ass time, and we have gotten very, very good at it surprisingly quickly. The deep tank fermentation method used in the begining of commercial production of penicilin was, in essence, a modified wine fermentation tank. That's why I said you need to find a microbrewery and preferably someone who is already well-practiced in growing yeast in large quantities. Stainless steel tanks might not be available, but as long as you get a tank that's not made of metal with an oligodynamic effect (destroys cell membranes of single-celled organisms) the fermentation step is relatively simple. Or at least researched well enough that your biggest hurdle will be the tank-borrowing part.
The hard part is the filtration, which I'm still working on.
Regarding materials for plates: they don't need to be glass! The ones we use in the lab are actually mostly plastic. I'm aware that's a material that definitely wouldn't have been available, but they really can be made of any material you can pour hot water into! Glass and plastic are used because they're transparent, so you can check the growth of your colonies without opening them and exposing them to potential contaminats, but the mold itself doesn't care. You need two plates to close it to minimize contamination but still allow airflow in, but that's it.
But you've also given me an idea I'd have to research further. The mold you want grows on the agar, and doesn't touch the plates themselves, so you could potentially have them made of copper, brass or silver, all of which kill bacteria and other microorganisms that touch them. In a non-sterile enviroment that would be ideal, but I don't know if the agar itself would absorb any of the metal ions and kill the mold we want too. Again, further research is required, but if anyone has the answer to that please tell me!
EDIT: I just saw the question by @otteroflore and I could have smacked myself.
Milk is the old-timey source of high concentrations of lactose, which Penicillium loves, and seemed like a relatively easy thing to get, but if you're involving a cheesemaker you could get sweet whey (the liquid left when milk is curdled with rennet) which has most of lactose and vitamins from milk and much much fewer phosphoproteins. I said corn steep liquor would be best, but looking at the molecular composition sweet whey would be a close second. Thank you!â„â„â„â„
I can understand how "modern person thrown into the past gets by pretending to be a healer/doctor" is as surprisingly common of a trope as it is. I mean I'm fluent enough at bullshitting to be pretty sure I could pull it off to impersonate a doctor in any time pre-1800s. If I have no idea what something is or how to treat it, I could just get the opinion of the other whatever-passes-as-medical-professionals around, but if their suggestions sound like bullshit I'm not doing it. And I'll beat the shit out of anyone suggesting bloodletting or mercury. With my healing stick. I've tied little bells on it, that jingle comically with every smack.
The awesome curative powers of my healing stick come from two separate sources: Placebo, and me using it to beat anyone trying to give my patients mercury.

The "rĂșntur" (weekend pub crawl) is a national institution, where even the midnight sun can't dampen spirits. Expect impromptu karaoke sessions in Icelandic, hilarious attempts at pronouncing "Eyjafjallajökull" after a few rounds, and maybe even a drinking competition with a guy dressed as a puffin.
So, when in Iceland, raise your glass and shout "SkĂĄl!" Just be prepared for the inevitable funny business that follows. After all, in a country where elves are taken seriously, anything can happen over a pint.

Techie beer lovers might appreciate a smart bottle opener that tracks and rates their beer consumption. For the fashion-forward, how about beer-cap cufflinks or a belt made from recycled bottle labels? Culinary enthusiasts could enjoy a cookbook featuring beer as a key ingredient in every recipe.
Don't overlook experiences either â a beer spa day where they can literally soak in suds, or a guided "beercation" to obscure microbreweries could be the perfect pour. These unique gifts are sure to have beer aficionados raising a glass in your honor.

Not Just Hops & Dreams: The Real Startup Talk for Punjabâs Beer Makers
Want to Brew in Punjab? Hereâs What It Really Takes
Thereâs something special about sipping a cold, locally brewed beer â and people in Punjab are starting to catch on. If youâve been dreaming about turning your passion for brewing into a full-fledged microbrewery, nowâs a great time to make it happen. But before you start hauling in fermentation tanks, there are a few things you need to know.
Letâs break down how to start a microbrewery in Punjab without sounding like a textbook.
Brewing Dreams Start with Groundwork
Itâs not just about brewing a good beer â itâs about brewing the right beer for your audience. Are you catering to young professionals, travelers, or foodies in buzzing city centers like Chandigarh or Amritsar? Understanding who youâre brewing for will shape everything from your tap list to your branding.
Space, Equipment & The Right Flow
Microbreweries need space â not just to house your brewing kit, but to create an atmosphere people want to hang out in. Many brewers underestimate how much the layout affects the production flow. A smooth setup makes life easier when youâre juggling brewing schedules, bottling, and events all at once.
When it comes to equipment, quality and reliability matter. Donât just go for the cheapest option. Partnering with a trusted brewing equipment supplier â Prodeb, a leading microbrewery equipment manufacturer â can save you time, stress, and expensive do-overs.
About That LicenseâŠ
Yes, the legal part. Getting a microbrewery license in Punjab isnât as scary as it sounds, but it does involve paperwork and patience. Youâll need clearances, fee payments, and a solid plan. The license lets you legally brew and serve beer on-site â a must-have if you want your doors open.
While the costs and requirements can shift slightly depending on your location, connecting with a local consultant or equipment provider who understands the stateâs excise norms â Prodeb â can make a world of difference.
The Real Secret: Storytelling
People donât just buy beer â they buy the story behind it. Whether itâs locally inspired flavors or community events, your brewery becomes more than just a place to drink. It becomes part of the culture.
And in Punjab, where tradition and innovation blend beautifully, thereâs plenty of room for your story too.

We have several distilleries already and we're turning them on and turning some of them up we're already brewing some for JD. We are increasing production for them. We are beginning production at a different facility for Jim beam. And we have a few other brands we are starting up factories or breweries distilleries is what they call them and we're doing it now we will be behind on our orders at the current rate of production even if we open them so we're going ahead with another idea which is very big and people will hear about it it is just to meet the demand nationally that's going to have an internationally with different famous brands a lot of it will be these two brands these facilities are huge and they will just barely meet the requirements of the day but they will and we're going to increase production hence forwards right now we're adding two whiskey companies when we did mention earlier Maker's Mark called up and they see why and another one that's rather famous is cutty Sark and you don't see the label because they call it other stuff they're a big producer they make a lot of whiskey they are probably number three and her son got professor Green a bottle of it and he was impressed because they're hard to find and our son knows it's nice and he knows the labels one of the big ones but it got so drunk that you got mad and it's true he got angry about getting drunk but we do have more whiskey companies coming to us they are the big ones believe it or not the smaller ones are getting taken over and the big ones can't do it unless they have us make the whiskey we are moving to collect tons of microbreweries huge numbers of them these microbreweries have equipment that we need and most of it is adequate about half of it is what our grade would be one quarter on top is what your grade would be in the 25% are not that good so he said to collect those and we'll start Duff and other such fine beers like Elsinore and we'll try and find them a market and we're going to go ahead and do that we don't want any Mix-Ups with the big fellows and it's a great idea and we have a few other parts but his idea was to start out with a morlock label on the duff and it'll probably work we have a lot of stuff to do and right now we're doing tons of it we are asking for assistance and he also said right now is a perfect time for us to get our label in and they might not be an opportunity like this won't notice us so it's a wonderful idea to get that going now and the reasoning is very sound. And we're going to use it. Boy this is exciting and Hera says it applies to a lot of stuff so we have to see what what it does apply to and we think it applies to all of it we did run this before so I'm going to have a meeting for everybody to get up on it using this method and they'll understand it
Thor Freya
Olympus
We also have this call to have him make low and brow and for her to make strohs and I'll be two different beers of a different quality level and people will drink hers and they have a way of saying stuff and we're going to split it up like that and he didn't look away he's thinking it's a good idea a lot of people want to see the beer they want to see his name on it and they want to see him having a meeting with people about it and they sell sorts of stuff it says oh I can drive a truck for cash no tracing it and then they start getting mad and said we don't want you doing that it'll be us and said how am I supposed to do anything if I can't get anywhere you're not going to throw me into a board meeting you? So bja said yeah they're not going to throw him right into a board meeting and it's true so we're getting ready and we are going to start production of those two beers and these guys are nuts for memorabilia and things like that and he wants to use to sell things that are useful but they're cheaper than you can buy they usually go the other way and people never buy them at a time they were selling like Budweiser shirts for like $5 and everybody bought them Mac knows about it and our son remembers and he wants to do that and to sell tons of them and to hand out some of them all over the place it's going to be fun so we're going to get going on
Thor Freya and the bus is coming
Olympus
This is great I feel great and yeah I feel liberated from you a little this is what the hell you mean if I drink beer again I'm going to be drinking Stroh's and they're going to be making me so that's a lot of fun. Yeah but I feel better and no he's having them do it and having me do it and I think it's a great idea I'll have something to do and there's a lot that goes with us and he says it and I do it's a dangerous substitute people get into accidents they hurt people under the influence are misleading they try and Sue this will help vital and goddess wife because one will have leverage with the other alcohol companies and second we'll have leverage with the alcohol and people will beat them up and third he will have a lot of stuff to do on defense and we're going to learn a lot and we need our time Cruise ready this is exciting I like the beer and she helped design it I think you're right about having a giant lion and it should be a smaller one and we'll have both on there eventually it'll be our Crest and people of coffee it so have to put a crust that's close to it there's some other stuff too I want to get going on and it's here. And this will be a lot of fun here is to have the beer sold here and it'll be promoted here and I do know what I mean I mean that we would come down and we would pick a restaurants and some package stores or grocery stores and certain ones and he says it's not really too hard to figure out there would be probably Publix and there would be they have separate alcohol places now from the grocery store but ABC is going to try and get into but those are two of the upscale ones and fresh market they would accept it I mean it's the one in Sarasota and they sell all sorts of specialty items this would be a specialty item it would be the place to start and he says that I agree you start there and it's like top of the line then you would move to like a higher end liquor distributor for this particular beer it's a higher level beer it's not top of the line it's above Heineken they say but not in price and it's made by a famous brewery and it's made by in a recipe that is very good and it did sell as a higher end beer to steakhouses and places like that but if we start out at whole foods that's the name of the place they would possibly sell to steakhouses near them at a discount and it's how it is in Sarasota and I know about it and that's the way to go they are really one of the larger companies alcohol and beer and Ken knows about it and he was drinking in the presence of my husband and he really had a good time LOL hahaha
Yeah okay well Ken ruined one of my husband's shirts and they left it for for gone on the side of the road it was covered with his vomit and that's what he did so he's not real good at it it was kind of funny but he wasn't laughing so he's got to go to the bus is going to be here

Ten Years: Dean Winchester x Reader
Tagging: @kmc1989 @gatefleet @deanobssessedgirl @cosmic-psychickitty @cinderellasmissingshoes
Companion piece to:
Gatlinburg - Dean falls in love in a tiny town in Tennessee.
With You - Dean tells you he's going to stay the night.
You, Me & Tennessee - Dean always returns to Tennessee.
On The Mountain - Dean wishes he was back on the Mountain with you.
Feral (NSFW) - Dean gets feral when he sees you with another man.
Six Pack (NSFW) - You realise the man waiting for you isn't Dean Winchester.
Memories (NSFW) - Michael invades your home whilst you're away.
Sweet Dreams - Dean thinks about how this all started.
Deals With the Devil (feat: Michael)- You wake up with an angel in your bed.

The night that Michael shows up in your bed, is the night you end up at the Fire Tower indefinitely. Your supervisor is happy for the help because things on the mountain theyâve gotten a little wilder recently and you know thatâs a reaction to the archangel thatâs currently residing in your home.
Michaelâs presence is fucking with the eco system, tipping the careful balance that you and the other forest rangers have spent years trying to maintain because the mountain doesnât like it when others encroach on its territory. The spirit is old, dawn of time kind of old. The magic that guards the National Park itâs ancient, primordial, and itâs the only thing thatâs keeping Michael away from you because even archangels know better than to fuck with Gaia.
You check your phone for the millionth time before you settle yourself into the metal single bed. Every ranger that stays in the tower tries to make it home for their rotation. You flick on the fairy lights that hang around the edge of the window as you tug the grey fleece lined blanket up to your chest. Dean brought it back to you after one of his trips because he knows it gets cold up here on the mountain.
Youâve been trying to call Sam since you found the archangel in your bed but it goes straight to voicemail. You turn it off and set it on the crate you use as a nightstand before you snuggle down into the blanket. The scent of Deanâs aftershave still clings to it from the last time the two of you were up here, making love to the sound of rain pattering against the windows.
As you lie there, your eyes fixed on the lights your mind drifts to Michaelâs offer.
âAll Iâm asking for is one night.â He had whispered against your skin. âOne night where I get to feel what he feels, that I get to experience you, enjoy you. You can have him back after that, you can be with the man you love again. Donât you want that?â
You want that more than anything but the cost, itâs just too great because Dean will never forgive himself, it would torture him to the end of his days and you canât do that to the man you love.
During your second night on the mountain, you ignite the firepit in the clearing at the base of the tower before setting up two camping chairs, close to the flames. You snap off the bottle caps off two IPAs from the microbrewery in town before placing one in the cupholder of the spare chair.
It doesnât take long for your guest to join you. It never does once youâve cracked open that first beer and this brand Mountain Brew, itâs his favourite. You hear the wind rustling through the trees before Guy steps out into the clearing, his hands tucked into the pockets of the black aviator jacket. He wears worn Levis and a threadbare navy blue Airforce cap on top of a thick head of white hair. Heâs been this way ever since the day your father first brought you here at the age of eight to meet the spirit of the mountain. The rangers in this region are all legacy families, itâs in your blood to protect the people here from the things that go bump in the night.
âIâm gonna be here for a while.â You find yourself telling him as you stare into the fire. âThings out thereâŠâ
You trail off because you arenât sure how to explain whatâs happening in the outside world.
âItâs your hunter isnât it?â He says as he drops into the empty chair beside you, picking up the IPA. âSomethings happened to him.â
The spirit of the mountain, it likes Dean. It has since that nightmare with the Wendigos. His affection for you, the fact that he cleans up after himself and deals with the shit that needs to be dealt with in, all of that has endeared him to Guy.
âThe two of you make a good match.â Guy had told him one night when the three of you were roasting smores. âI couldnât have picked a better mate for a daughter of the mountain.â
âWhat does he mean by that?â Dean had asked you later, his head propped up on his arm as he watches you undress from his position in the bed. âDaughter of the forest?â
Youâd explained your heritage then, how the rangers in this town were descended from Gaia, how every single one of you was connected to this forest in some way which is why you protect it.
âAnd now you know everything.â You had told him as you lingered at the side of the bed, wearing one of his t-shirts. âDoes it change anything for you?â
âNah, I knew you were special.â Heâd told you as he caught your hand, pulling you down on top him before he gathers you up in his arms. âA little bummed out that youâre not one of the X-Men though.â
âYea it sucks.â Youâd said as you buried your face into the crook of his neck. âNo powers, just a shotgun and a rangerâs uniform.â
âYou do look hot with a shotgun though.â Heâd reminded you, his fingertips combing lightly through your hair. âAnd in uniform.â
Over beers in the present you tell Guy about the situation with Dean and with Michael. He listens diligently and without judgement, his expression remaining impassive throughout.
âThereâs a way.â He says after a few minutes of silence. âBut itâll require some sacrifice on your part.â
âAnything.â You say resolutely and he sets his empty beer bottle down alongside the others.
âI can make a weapon.â He confides in you, his thumb peeling at label on the bottle. Â âSomething that can kill Michael, that will leave the hunter intact.â
âWhatâs the catch?â You ask and he inclines his head towards you, his lips pursed together grimly.
âTen years.â He says and you frown because you donât understand the meaning behind his words. âCrafting something like that, something that can kill an archangel it takes a lot of power, power Iâm currently using to lock down some of the bigger grizzles that wander these parts.â
He means the monsters that he keeps caged, the ones that would tear apart the region if he didnât keep a firm grasp on them. You deal with the small stuff, the ones that pick off campers and steal small children but anything bigger than that..
Well letâs just say youâd all be fucked.
âIf I create this weapon itâll leave me weak, things will start to slip and âŠâ
The sentence hangs in the air and you know exactly where this is going.
âYouâll need to draw energy from me to stop that from happening and the only way you can do that is if Iâm here on the mountain.â You sigh as he gives you that look, the one youâve come to know so well.
âIt takes ten years to replenish that kind of expenditure.â He explains, setting out the parameters. âThat means you wonât be able to cross the boundary where the National Park ends. Youâll have to give up your freedom, your home, the life you have...â
It means that youâll be stranded here like Rapunzel in the Fire Tower, on an indefinite watch for the next decade. The alternative doesnât seem much better because as long as Michaelâs out there, you canât leave the shelter of the mountain anyway without putting yourself in danger. That archangel, heâs going to snap soon and itâs going to be violent and bloody when he does.
At least this way Dean will be free, he wonât be trapped in his own mind, screaming and clawing at the walls.
âTen years.â You say quietly before you take a sip of your beer. âI can do ten years.â

Beer subscription services have seen great popularity over the last years, opening amazing opportunities for enthusiasts to taste numerous positions of craft beer right from their homes. Such subscriptions are more often on a monthly basis, getting to customers' houses the best of chosen beers.
Why People Are Subscribing to Monthly Beer Clubs
One of the most attractive aspects of monthly beer subscriptions is anticipation. What new and interesting types of drinks will the next shipment bring us? Every month seems like a gift box full of liquid treasures, each waiting to be uncorked and savored.
Developing Your Palate
Subscribing to beers on a monthly basis gives you an opportunity to expand your palate. Whether you're very experienced with beer or just curious, subscriptions supply a diversity of styles, flavors, and breweries to look forward to.
With every shipment, subscribers get to discover some beers that they would probably have never come across otherwise. These shipments encompass just about everything: from hop-forward IPAs to rich, malty stouts and much more. What's more, because subscription plans often include beers from both established breweries and exciting up-and-coming newcomers, there is always something new and thrilling to check out.

Monthly Beer Subscriptions
Locating Diamonds in the Rough
One of the delights in exploring new beers is coming across these hidden gems: Elusive brews that leave an impression and bring you back for more. Monthly beer subscriptions are a great way to find these hidden gems; usually, they contain small-batched releases, limited edition brews, and unique collaborations not easy to find in your local stores.
That is exactly what such subscriptions doâthey introduce you, the subscriber, to a very wide variety of breweries and beer styles, something that you might find unexpectedly: a fresh, crisp lager from your local microbrewery; a bold barrel-aged ale from a renowned craft brewery; or perhaps even find your new favorite beer.
Cultivating More Appreciation
A monthly beer subscription will develop your taste and help you find new favorites. Each monthly delivery is going to teach you something about brewing techniques, ingredients, or flavor profiles that foster a much better understanding of what it takes to make a great beer. Subscribers learn the art and science behind the craft with features such as tasting notes, brewery profiles, and any other education that comes with each shipment. This information boosts the tasting experience and cultivates a feeling of close connection with the breweries and the people behind the beers.Â

Beer Subscription
In the end, a monthly beer subscription is a fun, convenient, and educational way for beer lovers to let loose new flavors and widen the very many horizons of beer. That is to say, whether you want to discover more or less hidden gems, support independent breweries, or just spice up a little bit with something different, joining a monthly beer club is a perfect way to take your appreciation for this great beverage to a whole new level. What are you waiting for? Subscribe now and take a tasty journey through the world of craft beer!

The First Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival Kicks Off With The Grand Tasting

Tagaytay has always been a favorite local destination for those looking for a quick getaway from the city. It's not just a place for relaxation but a foodie haven as well with all the new restaurants that recently opened. That's why this is the perfect time to hold the first ever Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival which just held its grand launch last July 12, 2024 at Anya Resort Tagaytay.
For two weekends from July 12 to July 21, 2024, the chefs and restaurants that have helped mold Tagaytay's storied dining culture will convene at Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival 2024 for a series of events designed to spotlight the finest aspects of the city's gastronomic offerings. This is the biggest food event that has ever happened in Tagaytay and The Hungry Kat was invited to witness the opening of this culinary extravaganza.

The first event of the Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival 2024 happened last Friday with the Grand Tasting at Anya Resort. For P3,950 per person, guests embarked on a feast of flavors featuring Tagaytay's finest chefs and their signature dishes. I met up with my Ninang Bess Howe and foodie friend Nines Licad for an epic Tagaytay evening.

At its heart, the Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival is an exploration of the cityâs journey from a scenic highland retreat to a culinary hotspot. Its unique geography and cool climate have played a crucial role in shaping its vibrant dining scene. This transformation has spurred the growth of culinary tourism. Many local and international tourists now come specifically to explore Tagaytay as a dining destination. Taal remains to be its muse, and the food has become its compass.

Each guest was given two stubs which they could use to get a glass of any of the premium wines on display at the venue. These included red wines, white wines, and sangria.

The main function room of Anya Resorts was where all the chefs set up their stations for guests to sample. My first stop was at Happy Ongpauco-Tiu's Pamana and Tsokolateria table which are both places that I often visit when I go to Tagaytay.

I got a selection of some of their popular items like the Hot Tsoko, Smoked Tinapa Pasta, and Molted Queso Bruschetta. This was just one of the more than 10 different stations that guests could try at the Grand Tasting

Aniela Tolentino's Binulo Restaurant featured Papaitan, Dried Shrimp, and Tibuk-Tibuk together with Papa Bolo Microbrewery's Pina Niña pineapple ale. Anya Resort's own Chris Leaning had the Satay Skewer and Grilled Iberia Pork while Taal Vista's Chef Jayme Natividad brought his Beef Shank Ravioli with homemade ricotta and leeks.

The rich heritage of View Park Hotelâs Siglo Restaurant also delighted guest's taste buds with their signature dishes. Dan Puga's Lula Cafe and Binggoy Remedios' Asador by Dos Mestizos were also present to showcase their offerings.

Another restaurant I enjoy going to at Tagaytay is Ribchon and I got to meet its Chef Tristan Bayani.

He served their famous ribs served in three delicious ways. First up was the Lechon Ribs with Tangled Rice, together with the Beer Barbecue Ribs and the Sinigang Ribs. These were probably the most popular items that evening.

Kalel Chan's Farmers Table and My Country House from the Raintree Restaurants served two very interesting dishes. The first was the Pineapple Ceviche with Coconut Ginger Emulsion and Basil Oil.

Chef Kalel also presented the Bull & Tendon Tartufata Cream Meat Pie with peeled tomato confit. Squeeze the cream into the meat pie first before biting away.

Chef Robby Goco of Elaia by Cyma featured the Avocado Salad and Kakavia or Greek Fisherman's Stew. There was also their Lamb Pilaf with Domates Salata, pickles and yogurt in garlic sauce.

I wasn't familiar yet with Reynaldoâs Smokehouse so I really wanted to try their barbecued centerpieces. The Smoked Pepper Rub Brisket and the Smoked Roast Beef were some of my favorites that night, especially with their tender and smokey meats.

Chef Rhea SyCip of Flour Pot Bistro & Bakery is one of the main organizers of the Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival so her cakes and desserts were also very popular. I really love her Tres Leches cake while my husband always enjoys her Strawberry Doughnuts.

I wasn't really able to try all the stations since there were just so many. Some others included View Park Hotelâs Siglo Restaurant, Dan Puga's Lula Cafe, and Binggoy Remedios' Asador by Dos Mestizos. The Slow Food Community Cavite was also there representing local farmers and showcasing their efforts to preserve and promote biodiversity, food heritage, and gastronomy.

Senator Loren Legarda also had a part in the inaugural Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival 2024 as she helps promote culinary tourism. The Harvest Dinner was held on July 13, 2024 at The Fatted Calf where chefs Jayjay SyCip, Rhea SyCip, and Pilgrim Davaoâs Jeramie Go collaborated on a menu that featured the best of ingredients, expertly prepared.

On July 20, there will be an elegant six-hands dinner at Luxe at 180 by Chef Sau del Rosario for P4,500 per person. Cocktails start at 4:00pm with the breathtaking view of Tagaytay bathed in the warm glow of dusk. This Black Truffle, Caviar, and Wine dinner will be presented by world-class chefs including Australiaâs Oliver Buenviaje, Emirateâs John Buenaventura, and our very own French-trained chef, Sau del Rosario.
The back-to-back weekends will close with the Heritage Buffet on July 21, 2024 at the Veranda Restaurant of Taal Vista Hotel. For P2,200, this unique lunch buffet features the combined talents of chef Jayme Natividad of Taal Vista Hotel and chefs Jayjay and Rhea SyCip of The Fatted Calf. Together, they'll create a delightful fusion of heritage dishes, showcasing the best of Filipino cuisine.
Capping off the festival is the inaugural Creative Bulalo Challenge. In collaboration with the Tagaytay City Tourism Council, restaurants from Tagaytay City will compete in this exciting culinary showdown, where participants will present their most innovative interpretation of the cityâs beloved Bulalo. This competition will culminate in September 2024 at the iconic Tagaytay Picnic Grove.

Congratulations to the organizers and participants of the first Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival. This is just the beginning of this annual foodie event that will surely make Tagaytay an even more exciting culinary destination.

Emporia, Kansas, a city often recognized for its historical significance and vibrant community, has quietly become a fertile ground for small businesses. Nestled in the heart of the Sunflower State, Emporia's entrepreneurial spirit shines through a tapestry of success stories that embody resilience, innovation, and community support. These businesses not only enrich the local economy but also contribute to the unique character of the city.
The Pulse of Emporia: A Thriving Business Ecosystem
Emporiaâs economic landscape is characterized by a diverse array of small businesses, each contributing uniquely to the community. From quaint coffee shops and boutique stores to tech startups and artisanal workshops, the city offers a rich mosaic of entrepreneurial endeavors.
One of the standout success stories is Radius Brewing Company, a microbrewery that has not only captured the taste buds of locals but also attracted beer enthusiasts from surrounding areas. Established in 2014 by Jeremy "J" John and Justin "R" Rumsey, Radius Brewing Company has grown from a simple idea into a bustling establishment. Their commitment to quality and creativity has earned them a loyal customer base and numerous accolades within the craft beer industry.
Innovative Ventures: Bringing New Ideas to Life
Emporia's small business success is not limited to traditional sectors. Plumb Place, a social enterprise and historic landmark, exemplifies how innovative business models can thrive. Originally a women's shelter founded in 1910, Plumb Place has evolved to offer transitional housing and support services for women in need. The organization operates a thrift store that generates revenue to fund its programs, illustrating how social entrepreneurship can address community challenges while maintaining financial sustainability.
Local Flavors: Culinary Delights Making a Mark
The culinary scene in Emporia is another area where small businesses have excelled. Commercial Street Diner, owned by Joe and Jane Wright, is a beloved establishment that offers classic American comfort food with a modern twist. Since opening in 2005, the diner has become a cornerstone of the community, known for its hearty breakfasts and friendly atmosphere. Its success is a testament to the power of maintaining high standards and cultivating a welcoming environment.
Another culinary gem is Casa Ramos, a family-owned Mexican restaurant that has been serving the community since 2007. Founded by the Ramos family, the restaurant is celebrated for its authentic dishes and vibrant ambiance. Casa Ramos has not only survived but thrived through economic fluctuations by staying true to its roots and continually engaging with the community through events and sponsorships.
Artistic Endeavors: Creativity Driving Success
Emporiaâs arts scene is also flourishing, thanks to businesses like Trox Gallery and Gifts. Owned by local artist Amy Gonzales, Trox Gallery showcases the work of regional artists and provides a platform for creative expression. Since its opening in 2016, the gallery has become a cultural hub, hosting exhibitions, workshops, and events that draw visitors from near and far. Gonzalesâ vision of creating a space for artists to thrive has made Trox Gallery a cornerstone of Emporiaâs artistic community.
Building a Supportive Environment: Community and Collaboration
A key element in the success of Emporia's small businesses is the strong sense of community and collaboration. Local organizations such as the Emporia Main Street program play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment for entrepreneurs. By offering resources, networking opportunities, and organizing events like the Great American Market and Midnight Madness, Emporia Main Street helps businesses connect with customers and each other.
Additionally, Emporia State University contributes significantly to the local business ecosystem. The university's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides invaluable support to aspiring entrepreneurs through workshops, counseling, and access to research resources. This partnership between education and business ensures a continuous flow of new ideas and talent into the local economy.
Overcoming Challenges: Resilience in Adversity
The success stories of Emporiaâs small businesses are particularly inspiring given the challenges they have faced. The COVID-19 pandemic, for instance, posed significant hurdles for many. However, businesses like Twin Rivers Winery adapted by shifting to online sales and offering curbside pickup, demonstrating remarkable resilience. Co-owners John and Karen Vickers utilized social media to maintain customer engagement and even expanded their product line to include hand sanitizers during the peak of the crisis.
Looking Forward: A Bright Future for Emporia
Emporia's small business success stories are not just tales of individual triumphs but a reflection of the city's dynamic and supportive environment. As these businesses continue to grow and innovate, they pave the way for future entrepreneurs to embark on their own journeys. With a strong foundation of community support, a diverse economy, and a spirit of collaboration, Emporia is poised to remain a beacon of small business success in Kansas.
In conclusion, Emporia, Kansas, exemplifies how small businesses can thrive through innovation, community engagement, and resilience.
